Account: Directorate-General for European Cooperation (Dutch: DGES) and BZ. DGES develops and coordinates Dutch policy in relation to Europe and the European Union and is responsible for the relationship between the Netherlands and individual (candidate) EU Member States. DGES also ensures a coherent Dutch EU policy in the fields of transport, the environment and (inter)regional organizations, such as the Council of Europe, the OECD and the Benelux.
