I’m responsible for organising and coordinating learning activities relating to the work of the Directorate-General for International Cooperation (DGIS), such as courses on climate change and gender.

I am the project leader for various learning pathways for different job groups within the ministry. I’m also the contact person for the Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion and Belief. I work to create greater awareness and knowledge at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA/BZ) of the influence that religion has on our work, and encourage open dialogue about this.

In addition, I’m a liaison between the ministry and the Netherlands Defence College (part of the Ministry of Defence), which runs courses that are open to both BZ and Defence staff. Finally, I am involved in projects on generative AI and its potential uses in learning and development processes.  

Supporting colleagues through learning activities that boost their professional development is what gives me energy!
